A few weeks ago, the CHICC project photographed the taxidermy cases at Manchester museum. This week we have started photographing the majority of the mammals out of the cases. Using our portable equipment, we set up a studio in one of the vacant gallery bays.
The images will be used in the future for the possible development of iPad and iPhone applications to be used in the new gallery.
The after the photography, specimins are being packaged and stored until the new gallery is ready. The project is running for about a month.
